In the early afternoon of May 19, 2016, at the age of 86, Marco Pannella passed away, one day after being transferred to the “Nostra Signora della Mercede” Clinic in Rome. On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of his death, the Global Committee for the Rule of Law “Marco Pannella,” Hands Off Cain, and the Luigi Einaudi Foundation, at the initiative of Senator Giulio Terzi, are sponsoring the conference “Marco Pannella and the Right to Know, ten years on“.
The event will be held on Tuesday, May 26, starting at 3:30 PM in the Senate’s Sala Atti Parlamentari at Piazza Minerva 38. Speakers will include members of Parliament, journalists, and friends who will pay tribute to Marco Pannella, in particular with regard to the right to know.
